No More Sports Schedules

I’ve been asked by several people if I’m going to do baseball schedules this season. The answer is now unless you really really want me to. There are enough venues to get sports schedules from so it’s no longer worth the work for me. Thank you all for your support over the last several years that I’ve been doing this.

I’m sorry to hear that. I have been an annual subscriber and really liked being able to put the Red Sox schedule in my Palm. Hope you might change your mind. I think previous cost was a steal and would be willing to pay more if that would help. Thanks again for your past work.

Dom –

Doing schedules for all the teams was a time consuming process. However the actual creation of the schedules was not all there was to it. The bigger issue was uploading them to Handango and Palmgear. It could take as long as a day to upload to Handango and uploading to Palmgear took even longer since they have a limitation on how many I could upload per day.

These schedules were a bit of a labor of love for me. I liked to do them and though I never made a lot of money off of them the little extra cash it brought me was just enough to offset the frustrations I experienced in producing and uploading them. However, the fact is that downloadable scheduling information is more easily available than it once was and the money I make is no longer worth the headaches Palmgear gives me every spring. Thanks for the support you have given me through the years.

Although I have never used your data, I was going to download this year, though I guess that’s not going to happen. I’m wondering if you might be willing to pass along the knowledge of the development of this dataset. I might be interested in taking on the process.

Let me know, Dan

Dave…sorry to hear you will not produce the MLB schedule. You say the schedule is more readily available….but having trouble finding a 2007 schedule….would like one for Palm of Cubs and Indians. Any recomendations. Thank you.

I, too, was sorry to hear you’re no longer publishing the schedule. You were my “go-to” guy for the Braves schedule. I would load it on my Palm every year for my husband. Best of luck to you and I appreciate all your hard work in the past.
