Yahoo Password Possibly Hacked Again?
An interesting happened to me yesterday while I was working. My Yahoo Instant Messenger logged me out and popped up a message that said it logged me off because another machine had logged in with my ID. I was alarmed by this. Had someone hacked my Yahoo password and logged in as me?
Without hesitation I launched Firefox and went to Yahoo to change my password. If my fears were true then I wanted to change my password before the hacker would. As luck would have it this worked.
I don’t know if my account was hacked or not. This could have just been a fluke occurrence. Perhaps a bug in Yahoo Instant Messenger or a blip in my internet connection that triggered the message. But I wasn’t going to take any chances. And neither should anyone else who gets this message without a good reason for it.

I do not have the power or ability to get the password back for you. If you read my posts regarding Yahoo passwords (there are 5 of them so far) you will notice that all I do is tell the story about how I recovered my password through conversation, email and fax with Yahoo. If the account is truly yours then you need to learn from my experience and others and figure out how to get your password back through legal means.

As I have said before I do not have the power or ability to get the password back for you. Only you can get your password back and if you follow the story in my other posts on the matter you will see how I was able to get my own back. Maybe a similar process will work for you.

I cannot do this for you. I never claimed to be able to do this. I offered the story of my experience to show people that there are ways to recover your password should something happen to yours and you cannot recover it through the obvious means.
An interesting happen on 25th chritsmas day 2007, in the evening i was chatting in YAHOO sudenly a pop up message came with a dialogue ‘another machine has loged in your id, i took the pop up as false message as i m already sign in yahoo’.
But after finish chatting i log out from YAHOO and after that when i tried to sign in for chatting i could not enter,
i tried many times to check my password. but i was fail to sign in

I have said it many times and will say it again now. This is not a forum to recover passwords. If your password was hacked only you can get it back. My story (all 3 parts) is here to show you how I did it. The same process may work for you or it may not. Either way there is no way for me to recover your account for you so please stop asking.

Very recently, my password has been hacked and now i feel greatly handicapped by the loss of my yahoo mail which i had been using it for the last nearly 15 yrs. I have tried very hard to get it back by approaching the help menu in yahoo but all i could find from it that there is no person in yahoo who could be contacted and requested for retrieving the lost passoword. This is a horrible shortcoming with the yahoo mail, it offers no respite to yahoo users who mistakenly or unknowingly loose their passwords, or whose password is hacked and the hacker further tampers the hint of the password which the user has fed in his profile.
After having read the message of several people in this blog, I know several people are suffering the consequences of this cruel lacuna with the yahoo mail service. If yahoo service centre people read these comments, they should pull up their socks and include the facilitiy of retrieving the lost passwords of the users, else we would continue living in a state of uncertainity and on our luck even in this age of science and technology……

even i faced a similar hacking incidence on my yahoo mail, i was aksed to click on link send by my freind and when clciked it went to yahoo-geocities and since then i have not been able to log in my yahoo..
any help how to recover it back, would be thankfull.
also looking at the posts on web, looks like yahoo id’s are being hacked in large numbers and yahoo.website provides clumsy feeback and absolute no help.
