Still Waiting For The New Twitter

On September 15 Twitter announced a new web front end that would change the way people use the service. A new two paned interface that would rival all the third party apps people use to post their messages. The new UI is being rolled out incrementally which means that it could take a while for any specific user to get it.

Now, nearly 3 weeks later, I still don’t have the new Twitter. And to be honest I’m starting to get impatient. I’d really like to give the new interface a spin and see what all the buzz is about.

With that in mind I started doing research to see if there was anything I could do to force an update to the new Twitter. The answer is no. There is nothing an individual can do to make Twitter give them the new interface. Alas, all I (and other old Twitterers) can do is wait until whatever algorithm Twitter is using for the roll out decides it’s my time. Sigh.

In the hope that I’m wrong if anyone knows a way to force the reall Twitter to a specific account please let me know in the comments.
