I read in the news this morning where Sen. Joseph Biden (D-Deleware) entered the race for the Democratic presidential nomination. I thought this to be interesting since Biden attempted to get the same nomination in 1988. Biden ended up dropping out of the race after it was revealed that he had plagiarized in papers he wrote in law school. I’m curious why an issue that made him leave the race in 1988 won’t hurt him here. I mean the fact that he cheated hasn’t changed so you’d figure it would be just as bad for him now as it was then. If anybody can answer that question then please leave a comment here. I’d really like to know what his strategists are thinking.
